31 July	UMAT test date
1 November	Application closing date for Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
1 December	Application closing date for Bachelor of Optometry (BOptom)
8 December	Application closing date for Bachelor of Health Science (BHSc) Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science specialisation) Bachelor of Nursing (BNurs) Certificate in Health Science (CertHSc)
6 & 9 - 11 December	Interviews for all MBChB applicants
11 December	Interviews for BPharm applicants (all alternative admission candidates)
Mid December (TBC)	Interviews for MAPAS students
Late December	Offer of place for the MBChB II programme made following receipt of results and completion of interview process

2014

21 January	Interviews for BPharm applicants (all school leaver candidates)
Mid January (TBC)	Interviews for BOptom applicants (graduate catergory only)
Late January	Offer of places for all programmes (except MBChB) made following receipt of results and completion of interview process
28 February	Faculty Orientation Day
3 March	Semester One begins

Interviews

All interviews for MBChB and MAPAS will be held in December.

Interviews for BPharm will be held in December and January the following year.

Interviews for BNurs (alternative admissions only) will be held in December and January the following year.

Interviews for BOptom (graduate catergory only) will be held in January the following year.

Please continue to consult the key dates section above for further details on MAPAS interview dates as they become available. The University of Auckland reserves the right to change the above schedule when necessary.

Please note:

Late or incomplete applications for medicine and pharmacy will NOT be accepted (all admission categories).

While late applications may be accepted for BNurs, BHSc and BSc (Biomedical Science), priority may be given to applications received on or before the closing date.
