All centres have research as their main focus, and consist of a group of academic and research staff drawn from one or more departments and schools. A centre implies commitment to develop a programme in broader fashion than a single research project. In addition, The University of Auckland is host to four of the National Centres of Research Excellence (CoREs) and the following two centres are related to our faculty.
