Postgraduate subjects
Subjects are areas of study, usually offered by a school or department.
- Subjects may have a dedicated programme, for example a Postgraduate Diploma in
Community Emergency Medicine.
Subjects may be named specialisations within a programme, for example a
Postgraduate Certificate in Health Sciences in Mental Health.
- Subjects may be included in a generic programme, for example a Postgraduate
Diploma in Medical Science may include courses in a number of subject areas such
as paediatrics, psychiatry, or medical science.

The faculty also offers a small number of stand alone health related short
courses. These courses cannot be credited to a University qulaifications.
