The Department of General Practice offers a range of courses suitable for doctors, nurses, and other health professionals working in primary care settings, which may be included in a medical science or a health sciences programme.
Courses are delivered in a variety of formats including fully distance, and those
with some campus-based block teaching. The medical science programme allows doctors the opportunity to integrate their clinical practice with postgraduate study in clinical practice, clinical teaching, and applied research. Doctors
who hold a fellowship of a medical college may apply for direct entry into a Master of Medical Sciences.
