Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences Environmental Health

This subject is for health professionals who have, or wish to have, a career in environmental health or do research in environmental health. It will also suit environmental health officers and others who provide essential services involving monitoring and management of environmental health hazards and those in consulting companies, local government and industry who need some knowledge about environmental health issues in their daily work.

Courses in this subject area are offered at the School of Population Health in a Flexible learning format.

These courses may be included in the Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health in Environmental Health or as optional courses in the Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health or Master of Public Health. Environmental health may also form the basis of a masters thesis or dissertation topic.
