If you are employed, it is advisable to approach your employer about funding for
your postgraduate study. Employers may have funding available through a training
budget, or they may know of other possible sources of funding.
Depending on their circumstances, some students may be eligible for a Student Loan
or Allowance. StudyLink,
a service of the Ministry of Social Development, has the responsibility of processing
Student Loans and Allowances.
Further information on
student loans and allowances can be obtained by contacting StudyLink.

Some programmes may also be funded by the CTA for students employed clinically in
particular fields. Also, you can contact your proposed department to enquire about
other sources of funding.
