The Postgraduate Certificate in Public Health (PGCertPH) in Health
Promotion is principally aimed at health professionals who work, or want to work in
health promotion. Areas of work include public health,
health policy making, education, agency work, community work, planning and research positions. Health
promotion may appeal to people who have experience in public health,
and who wish
to further their academic achievement.
This programme is offered by the School of Population Health, and is taught and
assessed entirely by course work. Some courses in this subject area are offered
in a flexible learning format.
Students wishing to complete the PGCertPH in Health Promotion are required
to enrol in, and complete, the following courses:
