The Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Science (PGCertMedSc) is available for medical graduates wishing to pursue postgraduate study in a health or medically related field.
Eligibility
Students must have completed the requirements for the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (or an equivalent medical qualification), and must hold current registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or as a medical practitioner in their country of domicile.

Content
Students may complete 60 points from courses listed in the Master of Medical Science
schedule, or they can complete 60 points from one of the specialisations listed
below.

Important information
Places on this programme are limited. Priority may be given to applications
received on or before the closing date of 8 December.
Once you start this programme you will need to enrol continuously (each semester)
until the programme is finished. If you need to take a break you must apply for
a suspension.
This programme has a total enrolment clause of 80 points. This is the maximum number
of points you can enrol in (including failed or withdrawn courses) towards this
programme.
