Step 1: Identify a subject area that interests you

Step 2: Identify the programme that you will work towards eg, postgraduate certificate

Step 4: Accept your offer of a place on the programme and enrol in your courses

Step 1: Identify a subject area that interests you

Subjects are areas of study, usually offered by a school or department.

Subjects may have a dedicated programme, for example a Postgraduate Diploma in Community Emergency Medicine. Subjects may be named specialisations within a programme, for example a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Sciences in Mental Health.

Subjects may be included in a generic programme, for example a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Science may include courses in a number of subject areas such as paediatrics, psychiatry, or medical science.

Search for your subject

Next step

If you already know which subject you want to study then proceed to Step 2 - Identify the programme, for information about our postgraduate programmes. Otherwise, browse through the list of subjects below. You may find that the subject you are interested in is listed under a different name. Some subjects/programmes require the completion of an online expression of interest form. This can be accessed through the subject page. This is a good opportunity to advise the department of your interest and to receive advice on your programme options. Details of the appropriate contact person can also be found through the subject pages.

Step 2: Identify the programme
