Reclassification of medicines can benefit consumers, funders, pharmacy and others, but activity varies between countries.

This presentation explores reclassification in NZ and Australia, in the light of Trans-Tasman Harmonisation (attempting alignment of medicines classifications between both countries), and compared with selected developed countries. NZ has become very innovative and may offer lessons for others.
