What is an Expression of Interest?
The Learning Technology Unit runs an annual
elearning project round during the month
of October. We received a record number of submissions during the
October 2009 project
round with 39 expresssions of interest from across the faculty. The next project
round is scheduled for October 2010.
The submission process consists of filling in an expression of interest
form and submitting it to the Learning Technology Unit (see below). A submission of interest form provides the Learning Technology
Unit with details of the flexible or
distance learning project that you wish to start.
Should you have any questions regarding flexible or distance learning - project
related or otherwise - please do not hesitate to
Contact us

What happens to my submission of interest?
All submissions of interest are considered by the LTU. They are then prioritised
in conjunction with the Associate Dean Education, Mark Barrow.
You will be contacted by the Learning
Technology Unit once the projects have been prioritised. This will happen within
one month of the closing date for submission of expressions of interest.
What happens if my submission is successful?
If your submission is successful, the Learning Technology Unit will contact you
to arrange an initial project meeting. During this meeting you will fill out a Needs
Analysis Document together with members of the Learning Technology Unit team. This will
provide all the individuals involved with much more detail concerning what it is
that you want to achieve with your project.
