A bequest is a unique living gift, one which reflects your own interests, passion
and vision for our nation’s future health, and one which will continue to keep these
passions and visions alive long into the future.
Giving by bequest costs nothing now, yet it gives a great deal of satisfaction to
know that your future gift will live on in the form of a scholarship or prize in
your name (or in the name of someone you choose to honour) or will continue to fund
teaching or research positions at the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences.
Bequests can be tailored to allow for family interests
as well as charitable intentions and wills featuring a percentage of estate
assets or income being made available to the University are becoming
increasingly common.
Frequently asked questions on making a bequest.
Please seek advice from your solicitor before arranging a bequest. Alternatively,
the University's Planned Giving Team can provide all the information you
require in an objective, obligation-free discussion.
