Course overview: This course is designed for those engaged in
teaching students of medicine, nursing and other health professions and wishing
to include simulation in their clinical teaching. The course will consist
of key note speaker presentations and interactive activities.

Fundamentals of clinical teaching
Course overview: This course, which is designed for those

Designing effective questionnaires
Facilitators:

Course Overview: This course aims to cover the key components
of questionnaire design, implementation, and analysis. It will be ideal
for individuals who aim to use, or are using, questionnaires in their research
or practice. The course will follow a step-by-step process from designing
questionnaires to reporting findings.
Learning outcomes: At the end of the course the participants
will be able to:
- understand the core elements of questionnaire design
- understand the processes involved in designing questionnaires and deploying
surveys
- design and interpret the effectiveness of a set of questionnaire items
- justify the selection of a set of questionnaire items and report their
effectiveness
Assessment: The foundation of quality teaching and learning

Course Overview: This course aims to provide learners with a
thorough understanding of assessment and to introduce some practical assessment
tools to enhance teaching practices, curriculum development and and
implementation, and students' performance.
Learning outcomes: At the end of the course the participants
will be able to:
- understand concepts of effective assessment and measurement practices and how to
apply them in educational and workplace clinical settings
- interpret assessment data and properly report them
- choose proper assessment tools and apply them to improve teaching and
learning in educational and workplace clinical settings
