Neuroscience is one of the last frontiers of medical research and one of the most
challenging areas in medicine.
The scientists who work in this field are critical for our understanding of the
brain and ultimately for finding new treatments. The Centre for Brain Research aims
to grow and develop the careers of budding brain researchers, recognising fully
that the neuroscientists of tomorrow are our future.
BrainWaves organises seminars and events to encourage collaboration
and career development for younger members of the CBR.
